The metservice has a gale warning in place at present and no way can we be out in this!
It is expected to ease saturday afternoon.
Megisti will postpone the saturday sail and start 1pm.

sorry folks,the sun is out, but the wind is howling-metservice has a gale warning in force and,yes it is blowing 35+ knots in gusts already.
It is predicted to rise midmorning… The problem is that the sea is very lumpy/large swells and I don’t think it will be enjoyable for many, so I hope all can transfer to the 19th at 9.30am. Email asap to let me know www.megisti.co.nz contact page.

yes, leaving Naval Point Club around 6pm ish, to be at Sumner slipway at 7.30ish.
Both points as pick up points- Lyttelton finish around 11.15 pm as a rough guide- best for Adults, glass or two of Byo!!
